About Me

Growing up on a small family farm in Dorset for me meant being constantly surrounded by animals and other fantastic things to photograph.

To my parents amusement and often frustration, I would spend hours (and many rolls of film) trying to capture those ephemeral moments that my ‘chosen’ subjects gave me.

I have always loved picking up a camera and challenging myself to reflect the unique and individual characteristics of my subjects, whether human or otherwise!

After studying photography at university, I moved to London and worked as a freelance photographer and film maker, working for companies such as MTV, Fresh One (Jamie Oliver), River Cottage, Fashion TV, Company magazine, Pride Magazine and many more.

When based in London I spent a lot of time on the road, documenting events such as MTV’s tour of Africa, numerous high profile video shoots for recording artists, as well as undertaking many commercial photography jobs across Europe and the United States.

More recently, as my friends started getting married and having children, I found myself being asked to photograph these more intimate and personal events, and discovered that I really loved recording those life-changing moments.

After 8 years of living in London, I decided to move back to the family farm in Dorset and specialize in portrait and animal photography. The focus of my work is to capture the sensitivity an emotion of a moment, and to achieve this I try to ensure that my photo sessions are as natural and fun as possible.

I like to work with you to produce unique, personal images that you will treasure for many years to come.
